Mrs. Hamilton-Trejo
Position: Liberty Elementary School District Employee
Notable: "Mrs. Hamilton-Trejo is in her 5th year of working with the district and has done many things both on our campus and district-wide to benefit kids. She is the district STAR Autism Coach; she travels to various campuses to assist with student observations and is the lead every year for our “Light it up Blue” campaign. She serves on the Kids at Hope Committee here at Liberty and devotes countless hours to ensure that each and every one of her students’ needs are met. She is a believer in all kids and an inspiration to us all."


  • Who in real life inspires you?

My husband. He has continued to pursue his dreams while working full time, working on getting his Master’s degree and making time for family. He is a great role model for our daughter.”


  • What are you reading/listening to right now that others should too?

“I have been reading Peter and the Star Catcher”.


  • If you could splurge on one thing, what would it be?

“Vacations with my husband and daughter. Training for Warriors; Health and fitness are 2 big parts of who I am.”

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

“I will be officially adopting my step-daughter this year. There is nothing I have ever wanted more than to be a mom and now this dream will come true.”

Position: Preschool Teacher
Notable: "She is a rock star!! Not only does she take care of our littlest eagles on campus, she serves on PRIDE Team and has been awarded several grants in the last couple years. We are so happy to call her one of our own."


  • Who in real life inspires you?

I am inspired by Mrs. Jessica Benson who teaches full-time and has four children; some of whom have special needs. Despite that, this teacher comes in with a smile on her face everyday!”


  • What are you reading/listening to right now that others should too?

“I have been reading Our Daily Bread Daily Devotions and Wonder.”


  • If you could splurge on one thing, what would it be?

“A vacation! I love to travel and so does my family. We definitely believe in the old saying, 'Work hard, play harder!'”


  • What is your best piece of wisdom for other Treasure Hunters?

“Everyone has something about them that can be celebrated - even if you have to dig to find it. Sometimes the best treasures are buried the deepest.”

“I'm a Hallmark Christmas movie junkie and I can watch them all year long!"
