8th Grade Promotion

Our 109th Promotion Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 17th, 2018 at 5:45 pm in the amphitheater.

Students will need to be in the cafeteria no later than 5:15 pm.

While there are no tickets to the ceremony or limits on family members who wish to attend, we ask that you be considerate as to how many people you invite as there is limited seating.

Because there is limited parking, please utilize the parking lot in front of the school as well as any parking spots near the A Building and District Office Complex.

Boys: The boys are expected to wear slacks with a collared shirt. Ties and Jackets are optional.

Girls: The girls’ dresses and tops should be kept tasteful and not be too revealing.

~Jeans are unacceptable for this event, unless formal western attire is worn. No hats, sunglasses, or offensive jewelry may be worn during this event.~

In the interest of student safety and enjoyment of this special event, students are expected to follow these guidelines. Staff and administration feel that this allows for individuality while still following dress code as stated in the Liberty Elementary School District Student Handbook.

**Please be advised that although the 8th graders have their promotion ceremony on Thursday, their attendance is expected on Friday, May 18th due to the missed school days. Your child’s attendance will only be excused if you call in for them that day.**
